  •  subscribe to our emails, SMS, or WhatsApp updates, or

Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given to them in our Terms of Service.

Acceptance of This Policy

We do not store your full credit/debit card number. Payments are processed securely by third-party payment providers (e.g., Shopify Payments, Tap Payments, Stripe, PayPal, or other providers shown at checkout).

Marketing & Preference Data:

  •  your marketing preferences (email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications)
  •  responses to surveys or feedback forms
  •  product preferences and interests

User-Generated Content:

  •  product reviews and ratings
  •  photos or videos you voluntarily share with us (e.g., by tagging us on social media, submitting content for campaigns, before/after photos)
  •  any other information you choose to provide in free text fields

We may store your data in secure servers located in Unites Arab Emirates, the GCC, the EU, the UK, the United States, or other jurisdictions, via our service providers and cloud partners. Where we transfer your data internationally, we implement appropriate safeguards (see Section 10 – International Transfers).

5. Sharing of Information

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

We share information with trusted third parties who help us operate our business and the Site, including:

 E-commerce platform providers (e.g., Shopify)

 Payment processors (e.g., Tap Payments, Stripe, Shopify Payments, PayPal)

 Shipping, logistics, and fulfilment partners (including local and international couriers, warehouses, and fulfilment services such as Amazon FBA/MCF if we use them)

 IT & cloud service providers (hosting, backups, databases, email infrastructure)

 Marketing & analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta, TikTok, email/SMS/WhatsApp platforms)

 Professional advisers (lawyers, auditors, accountants, consultants) where necessary

These parties are permitted to process your personal data only as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are required to protect it in line with applicable laws and our instructions.

5.2 Legal Obligations & Protection of Rights

We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

  •  comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or governmental requests (including in GCC countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, etc.),
  •  enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements,
  •  protect the rights, property, or safety of Silkée, our customers, or others,
  •  detect, investigate, and help prevent fraud or security issues.
5.3 Business Transfers

In connection with any actual or proposed merger, acquisition, investment, financing, sale of company assets, reorganisation, or similar business transaction, we may transfer your information to another company as part of the transaction, subject to confidentiality and applicable laws.

5.4 With Your Consent or at Your Direction

We may share your information with third parties when you explicitly consent or request us to do so (for example, when participating in a co-branded campaign or referral programme).

8. Advertising & Analytics

We may work with third parties to:

· show you ads for Silkée on other websites, apps, or platforms, and

· measure the effectiveness of our advertising and understand your interests.

These third parties may use Cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your use of the Site and other websites, including your IP address, browser details, pages viewed, links clicked, and purchases made.

We use this information to:

· understand our audience,

· improve the performance of our campaigns, and

· deliver more relevant content and ads.

We are based in the United Arab Emirates, but we may process and store your personal data in other countries, including GCC countries, the EU/EEA, the UK, and the United States, through our service providers and partners.

· such steps may include using Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognised by applicable data protection laws, and

· we will ensure that third-party recipients process your data in line with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

By using the Site and providing us with information, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred, processed, and stored in countries outside your country of residence.

11. Security
